The US government spent thousands of dollars sending officials to a conference at a luxury spa where they watched a simulation of commandos fighting off a "zombie apocalypse".
Actually, the theory was that a zombie attack wouldn't be much different from your routine non-zombie riot. Then again, that was a lot of money spent. I wish they would see fit to put some of that spare cash into beefing up the electricity grid to protect it from an EMP bomb that really would create some zombies.
