World of Quotes

I've been looking for something like this off and on for quite a while. It's a database of quotes - 32,767, they claim. They are organized in almost 1,400 topics and are also searchable by author: World of Quotes.

Here's one of my favorites, from Mark Twain [paraphrased the way I remember it] :

A cat who sits down on a hot stove will never sit on a hot stove again. But, he will never sit down on a cold stove either.

Note: if you search by author be mindful that they are alphabetized by their first name, e.g., Mark Twain is found under "M". Go figure.
