Although I understand the need for the horseshoe, I don't think that it would be utilized as promised. Remember back when the complex was built? We were promised concerts and car shows and get togethers and things happening all the time. It seems the only times it's used is for high school games and rockhound games. It's not attracting anything to Midland except an extra couple high school games from out of town teams. I feel the horseshoe is going to be the same. Midland is filled with great great things. But we are not marketing them as much as we should be. "Build it and they will come" is not true. "Build it and force them to come" should be the attitude.
