Here we are atop a cherry picker blogging away for the Midland Fair Havens blogathon, er uh, Blogging for Midland Fair Havens. And as a fund raiser, it's going swimmingly with $7,870 pulled in as of now, according to Jimmy Patterson, the guy who thought this up.
WOW!

What a great way to raise money for a great organization. Well, that's Jimmy the genius. A one man fund raising machine.
The technology was a little baffling at first. But J. P. Hearn loaned us his MacBook Pro to use up here, so we've got two bloggers going at the same time. Exiting huh? No? Don't worry, it won't last much longer.

I thought I would have to write it all out in long hand. For those out there who may not remember, long hand was a writing style involving paper and pen or pencil, and it was the way people communicated without talking or painting on the cave wall.
Anyway, I should sign off and let J.P have his computer back. Thanks J.P.!
You are hilarious!

Ah shucks, Janie. I'm blushing.

I just knew you'd be a-blogging away at 6 am this morning...

Janie, I guess we all have to keep our commitments. That's what kept Jimmy and J.P. out there even after the dollar goal was reached.

Nice pic of your car, Sleepless.

Yeah, it's a nice looking car, Redman. It's got a wing that lies flat on the trunk but can be raised by the driver and can be set to adjust itself according to the speed of the automobile. But, alas, the car is not mine. It belongs to J.P. Hearn.
