Where's the world's wealth?

WorldMapper.org is a very enlightening website which has on display several cartograms -- maps with the land mass adjusted to exhibit the comparative size of various things.

The one you see here is titled Wealth 2002 with the borders adjusted to show purchasing power as of 2002. Little wonder that the U.S. is considered such a juicy target by so many within and without the country.
