Yesterday was a beautiful snow day here in Midland, Texas, except for those who had to actually drive or work in it. The poor souls.
The Midland Reporter-Telegram tells us that the NWS counted 4.5 inches and that yesterday's snow fall set a local record for February.
It's been a cold winter. Rex and the Snowman talk it over.
Let's hope there's a cool summer coming.
A cool summer in Midland would top out at, what, 105?

That's a bit on the warm side, MSigler. A high of 90 might be tolerable. Add about an inch of rain once a week and this patch of desert could be quite nice.
Pinch me, I must be dreaming!
