This is so unfair. Here we are in a serious recession, jobless people are in dire straits, and some rich guy offers a million dollar prize from his inherited fortune for someone to steak naked in front of the President Obama with "battlecam.com" written on his body and to shout those same words six times.
So far so good until Juan James Rodriguez stepped up to the plate and performed a million dollar streak at a campaign rally in Philadelphia. So now the guy who issued the challenge, Alki David, seems to be trying to weasel out of paying because he can't confirm whether Obama saw it. Source and excerpt:
We're waiting to hear from the president to see if he, in fact, saw Juan Rodriguez during the streaking challenge.
Mr. David probably got more publicity for his website than he could have bought with his million dollars, but even if he didn't he should honor his offer rather than offering less the full amount.
And what about Obama? Can't he step forward and help out Mr. Rodriguez? Help the little guy, hurt the rich guy, that should be win/win in Obama's world.
Keep digging, George, till you get to the bare truth :-)
