The line was long at the Midland County, Texas, annex building today on this last day of early voting. But the line moved quickly, and at around 3:00 pm a voter could get in, vote, and be out in 20 minutes. Thank goodness there was a simple ballot this time.
The election office adjoins the tax office, so voters were entertained by the delightful Halloween costumes the County employees wore. Could the tax office have chosen a more appropriate theme than pirates?
