This is almost too clever -- a CDC preparedness guide for a zombie apocalypse. Here's the link.
But the tag line -- If you are ready for a zombie apocalypse then you are ready for any emergency -- brings it home.
This being the government, though, the one thing missing is an admonition to pay your taxes in advance.
Meanwhile, for an over-the-top zombie movie, check out Grindhouse Presents Planet Terror, which, if you are a Texas taxpayer, you may have helped pay for.
The CDC blogger lost all undead cred when s/he mentioned that "Resident Evil" is her/his favorite zombie movie. Everyone knows that "Shaun of the Dead" is a veritable PSA for zombie preparedness!

Ah, "Shaun of the Dead." Good point, Eric.
And "undead cred?" Priceless!

Haven't been to the bookstore rceently; been playing with my brand new Kindle! (Incidentally, If you haven't checked em out yet, The Strain Trilogy by Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan, while not zombie books, are excellent reads; Books One and Two are out. Highly recommended! A modern day, more realistic take on vampires, with similarities to the Reaper baddies from Blade 2 )I also find that the local bookstore is an excellent spot for nomming brains
