It shouldn't be too surprising that President Obama is having a big ticket fundraiser in California, or that it will be at movie star George Clooney's house.
What is surprising is that there may be some commoners in attendance who aren't with the help. Their invitation would come through the Obama for America "Obama, Clooney and you" sweepstakes:
Fifty (50) potential winners will be selected by a random drawing from all eligible entries to be held at Obama for America Headquarters by May 1, 2012. ...
But unfortunately for most of us,

Well darn. There's that arrogant 1% putting it in our faces again. Occupy Clooney's house! That should be the rallying cry once the Occupy crowd finds out about it. You think?
