Government waste not a new thing but that's no excuse

It's almost as if it's a feature not a bug with governments. What was old is new again with the scandalous spending by the GSA.

The cartoon above depicts at least one cartoonist's view. There was no context over at Mostly Forbidden Zone, but it appears to be from an era long past.  And yet, except for the lady's headdress, it seems so current.

Yeah, the cartoonist's concern wa Congress, but it's the same concept. Access to other people's money creates an intoxicating sense of entitlement.  And it's high time for an intervention.  If it doesn't happen in November, it won't happen.
