Passwords smasswords

There's never a shortage of security people telling us to use passwords too complicated to remember.

So when the folks at NakedSecurity yuk it up over the password "password" among the Yahoo Voices passwords stolen and publicized the other day, it's worth remembering that those 450,000 passwords weren't deciphered one by one by some tireless hacker trying to get into those accounts, they were stolen in volume from Yahoo itself regardless how sophisticated or stupid the individual passwords were.
