The oil and gas industry shares a spot on a list with the movie industry. Gallop says people hate them.

1. Oil and Gas - negative rating = 61%

2. Banking - negative rating = 53%

3. Health care - negative rating = 42%

4. Real estate - negative rating = 41%

5. Pharmaceutical - negative rating = 38%

6. Utilities - negative rating = 38%

7. Legal - negative rating = 37%

8. TV & radio - negative rating = 36%

9. Movie - negative rating = 35%

10. Advertising and PR - negative rating = 35%

Ironically, it is movie makers who work as hard as anyone at villainizing industry.
