Barackobama.com invites visitors to be a part of the moment, i.e., attend a party to watch the presidential debate with other Obama fans on October 3. All you do is fill in a zip code, and a Google map will pop up showing a party location.
As of yesterday folks here in Midland, Texas, were out of luck. As you can see from the screen shot, the closest party shown was in the next state. On the other hand, use zip code 20001 (Washington, DC) and get hundreds of locations.
But here's the problem with trying to write blog posts a day in advance. Today one party shows up in Midland. Location is Harvest Caffe hosted by Dr. Jeff Kapp.
I didn't know Harvest Caffe served Kool-Aid.
