There are plenty of reasons to unelect Barack Obama. Chief among them is that it might provide an opportunity to repeal Obamacare. It's also important to prevent Obama from sending any more liberals to the Supreme Court.
But right up there with those important reasons is the removal of Eric Holder. A short list of grievances against Holder would include Fast-and-furious, the gun running scandal that left hundreds dead and that looks suspiciously like an attempt to create an excuse to ban guns.
Add to that the case of the New Black Panthers who intimidated voters on video in 2008, a crime which Holder elected not to prosecute. But not to worry. King Samir Shabazz was enjoined from carrying a baton next time. Yeah, that's reassuring.
Let's not forget the meddling in Texas' redistricting which delayed the 2012 primary until late in the season. Then there was the blocking of voter ID laws. The baton Holder used for that beating was Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act. Texas didn't take this lying down, though, and sued to have it declared unconstitutional. Section 5 has outlived its purpose, and we'll know soon whether the justices agree.
In any event, Eric Holder has politicized the Attorney General's office like none before him. For the good of the country he and his boss need to go.
