This quote from Bertrand Russell popped up today:
If there were in the world today any large number of people who desired their own happiness more than they desired the unhappiness of others, we could have paradise in a few years.
Doesn't that seem to nail that last Presidential campaign? The winner relied so heavily on a need by so many to make some many others unhappy.
