It's the space monkey who should be offended

There's someone poised to be offended at every joke. And right on cue here comes someone carping about John McCain who tweet quipped the following:

So Ahmadinejad wants to be first Iranian in space - wasn't he just there last week? "Iran launches monkey into space"

Ha ha. Good one, John. But wouldn't you know it, someone got their feelings hurt and called the joke racist. Link.

On the bright side, maybe a promise to quit making wise cracks could be held out as a carrot to get the Iranians to quit building nuclear bombs. Don't laugh. It couldn't work any worse than sanctions.
