How does that old saw go? Build a better mousetrap and they will come? Something like that. Anyway, someone did build a better mousetrap.
Mice problems come and go, but there's nothing like a cold snap to bring them indoors. How they get in is a question for Houdini. And getting rid of them is another challenge. The old fashioned snap traps work great. Poisons work very well too, but neither are safe when there are small children or pets around.
So Woodstream Corp came up with the Victor Electronic Mousetrap. It uses four AA batteries, and when a mouse touches both metal pads it closes the circuit. The charge must stop the rodent's heart. Because it works!
The thumbnails below are photos showing what the device looks like on the outside and the inside including a bonus photo of the first casualty.
I bought mine for $19 plus tax at Amazon.com.
I think I'll call it "Lil Old Sparky."
Victor is really good for electric mouse trap. I'm also using one of their trap in my house to eliminate house mice.
