Every time I hear a Democrat try to justify the border invasion by reciting that George W. Bush signed the law allowing unaccompanied Central American kids free entry into the U.S. I have to chuckle. GWB is now the gold standard. If he did it, it must be OK.
What a contrast from previous years. Obama has decried Bush since at least 2008. Bush invaded Iraq, so Obama did his best to reverse everything accomplished there. Bush established the prison at Guantanamo, so Obama is doing his best to release all the inmates. But the border law? Can't touch that, George signed it. It's sacrosanct.
Who would have thought Dems held him in such high regard?
