The title may give too much away, but it's a funny story about how a techno-smart guy dealt with a telemarketing call. Read the dialog here.
It starts with the intended recipient of the telemarketing call pretending that he's with IT and is interrupting to fix a problem. He finds out what kind of system they're using, then provides instructions that will put the phone out of commission. Ya think he got put on their "do not call" list?
It's funny in a slip-on-banana-peel sort of way, and it would be much more satisfying if the caller had been a scammer.
