Welcome to Fox Friday, the weekly collection of the best photos of urban foxes from the previous seven days at the Bone Yard, an undisclosed feeding station in the heart of Midland, Texas.
The foxes look so similar it's difficult to distinguish them except for the tails. Their tails are so long they have to work to keep them off the ground. So maybe the tail position is a useful way to tell them apart. Or it could be the same fox coming around each night fooling me with a different tail position.
Saturday night -- This one holds her tail straight.
Tuesday night -- Now look at this crooked tail held high. It's like a question mark.
Thursday night -- This one looks like an "S."
So were these all the same fox? Could be. If so, I'm glad she keeps coming back.
That's all for this Fox Friday. See ya next time.
