It's hard to know who to root for in this. On one side is an Indian tribe trying to seek government sanctioned tribal status. The Pamunkey tribe in Virginia is trying to get the recognition for all the obvious reasons, which would include the right to own a casino. So with that potential money maker the gaming industry is in the mix-up, too.
But if there's one thing we know it's that politicians are so principled that the possibility of a payoff would never be a factor. Ya think?
