As I've complained many time before, cats get most of the food. I can't figure out a way to see that the foxes get it exclusively. The cats almost always get there first. And the foxes are so polite they let the cats satisfy themselves before moving in on what's left of the food. Fortunately, if a fox gets there first, the cats stay back. However, on Christmas eve they all got to eat. See below.
First, I just had to show these two pics from a foggy last Saturday night.
Foxes in the fog. That's Old Crooked Tail on the left and Dragon Tail on the right.
On Christmas eve extra portions of food were tossed around the perimeter of the main course. And we got to see the fox picking up pieces as she warily circled around the cat. I should do that more often. The cat just stared, afraid to leave her precious cache of chicken drumstick.
Finally, Christmas night -- she can strike such a majestic pose. What a beautiful creature that fox is. (This picture was cropped and gamma adjusted.)
That's it for this Fox Friday. See ya next time.
