It has been an unlucky week for fox viewing. And wouldn't you know? It's Friday the 13th.
As I've noted before, cats get to the food before the foxes do. Now there are four cats grazing the area, and one cat has essentially taken up residence at the Bone Yard. The foxes cruise by from time to time, but one or more cats have usually consumed all the food before the foxes get there.
Fox pictures were sparse this week. For example, this morning the camera had 1,302 total photos from the previous 12 hours, however only six if them had foxes in them. The cats now dominate the feeding station. Let's see what we got.
Here we see two foxes circling the yellow cat. The cat didn't budge, and the foxes left hungry. That was last Friday night.
They came back Sunday night. There's a frozen drumstick about a foot in front of the lead fox. But unfortunately, neither recognized it as food. The cats don't seem to have that trouble.
Since the cats have taken over, you may as well see some of them.
Here we see Big Foot giving Yellow a hard time. Poor Yellow. It's all she can do to hold her ground.
That's it for this Fox Friday. See ya next time.
