How out of touch are Democrats? So much so that global warming is their top priority.
The Democrat presidential candidates are slightly less ardent about that, at least as evidenced by the most recent primary debate. But they are even less ardent about the U.S. taking much of a role in the fight against ISIS. It isn't our fight, says Clinton:
"This is an incredibly complicated region of the world," she said. "It's become more complicated. And many of the fights that are going on are not ones that the United States has either started or has a role in."
When they attack civilians here in the U.S. it will become clear how wrong she is.
Clinton's accomplishments as Secretary of State were nil. And that job is where she probably hit her competency high water mark. Democrats must hope she can do as well as president as she did as Secretary of State.
In any event, putting climate change -- or more to the point, blaming humans for any change in temperature -- as a top priority is a serious misreading of the public's state of mind.
