When I read that soldiers who authorized the hospital airstrike may be charged with crimes I wonder it it might not be such a bad thing having Putin in charge over there

The airstrike on the hospital in Afghanistan was called a mistake caused by human error. But it is being used as an excuse to punish U.S. military personnel even though the strike was called in by Afghanistan forces who contended it was run by the Taliban.

In fact, criminal charges might result.

People get hurt in wars. The U.S. takes great pains to avoid civilian casualties, but sometimes it happens, especially when civilians are used as human shields.

We all know Putin's military isn't being run by lawyers. Ours shouldn't either.
