Winter's last gasp in west Texas

Winters last gastThe temperature here in Midland, Texas, this afternoon is a pleasant 55F after an evening in the 30s. This could well be the last taste of winter we have this season. And it is so pleasant.

Spring here lasts about five minutes, and the first 100F day typically occurs in the month of May. So by golly, I'm going to enjoy this cool air while I can. Too bad there's not some way to store cool air and issue it into the house in the summer. Oh well.
