This is in regard to the Russian jets buzzing the USS Donald Cook.
The way Putin is thumbing his nose at the U.S. is annoying to most Americans. And even the Obama administration seems to be bothered by it to some small degree, if for no other reason, because of the lack of respect shown for Barack Obama himself. It makes the average American yearn for the old days when no one would dare do that to the cowboy president that the left hated so much.
It also makes us wish the Navy had some non lethal weapons at their disposal. Rail guns and anti-aircraft missiles have a place in the arsenal. But it would be nice if they had a weapon that would emit a powerful radio wave or electronic pulse that would disrupt some feature on the Russian planes that wouldn't cause a crash but would definitely send them home.
Or maybe they could develop a cannon that would shoot a frozen seagull into jet's intake. There might be some plausible deniability there that the Obama administration could latch onto.
Meanwhile, we're left wondering if Putin will demand our lunch money next.
