Harambe was the gorilla who picked up a fallen child but didn't treat him with the gentleness humans expected. So Harambe got the death penalty.
A similar thing happened to Ken Starr. Some female Baylor University students claimed they were assaulted by male students. And Ken Starr did the right thing -- he let the police and the courts do their jobs.
But there's a vigilante campus PC Police out there enforcing crimes against political correctness. Starr's actions weren't enough for them. And he paid a price.
The take-away-message from the Starr case appears to be that women in college are fragile children who should be handled with great care because they don't have the capability to take care of themselves. And school administrators, or zookeeper for that matter, should be very cautious as action in either direction is going to be criticized.
To solve these perceived problems the clock would have to be turned back in both cases. Zoo walls would have to be fortified to keep animals in and people out. And female college students would be required to live in dormitories with strict curfews and stern dorm mothers. Welcome to the '50s.
