The other day Realclearpolitcs.com called Texas a toss-up state after years of being reliably Red. Democrats are ecstatic, and that might actually work to increase the Democrat turnout.
But if anyone is inspired by this to actually vote, it will be conservatives who dread Democrat politicians like the plague.
Left leaning Texas Monthly magazine speculates that any tilt to Blue is only because Trump is such an undesirable candidate. Their contention is that's a fluke and should not be confused with a long term trend.
Be that as it may, let the Democrats have a good time with that poll, like the lotto ticket buyer dreaming of what he'll do with all that money. But when it comes time to vote, Republicans and conservatives will be motivated by fear. And they'll be out in stronger forces than they would have been without that poll.
