It's probably not a compliment to say that a TV meteorologist could be a hand model. But Newswest9's Rachel Briers could be a hand model.
A meteorologist has to watch herself on a monitor and move her limbs to coincide with what the viewer sees on the small screen. Watch the opening segment of the movie "Groundhog Day" as Andie McDowell mugs in front of the green screen to see how difficult the job must be.
Anyway, Rachel Briers makes it look effortless as only someone with an athlete's body control could do. Her hands move right along the edge of a cold front with the grace of a ballerina.
It's memorizing. And the weather reporting is good too.
Here's a video compilation that appears to have been made at her previous place of employment. Newswest9 probably saw that and declared her a must-have. Now she's a keeper.
Is the scar on the right leg secondary to surgical removal of an osteochondroma ?
