Kaitlan Collins at Dailycaller.com relays a report that Barack Obama Needs Time To Think About Himself Once He’s Out Of Office which includes the following:
Obama told Axelrod he plans on “writing a book and self-analyzing his time in office” during that time.
Oh my. Fact checkers -- legitimate ones -- will be working overtime to expose all the fake news in that book.
But the question that first springs to mind is, who will write it? Jack Cashill has pretty much proven as well as anyone could that Bill Ayers wrote Obama's first autobiography. See Did Bill Ayers Write Obama’s “Dreams”? To wit:
In short, Ayers had the means, the motive, the time, the place and the literary ability to jumpstart Obama’s career. And, as Ayers had to know, a lovely memoir under Obama’s belt made for a much better resume than an unfulfilled contract over his head. ...
Obama dissembles lethally when he describes Ayers as “just some guy in my neighborhood.” He is much more than that and quite possibly, as I have argued, the real author of Dreams From My Father.
Ayers has little motive to write another one. If some third party is brought in to ghost it, that writer will not only have to write for Obama, but he/she will have to sound like Ayers. That seems like a tall order.
