Decide which side you like in lawsuit then find law to support that side -- that's the Democrats' standard for Sup Ct Justice

The worker vs the boss, the little guy vs the big guy. Listen to Dems questioning of Neil Gorsuch and one comes away with the conclusion that that's the only issue they think about.

That's the wrong way to look at it. The job of the Supreme Court is to interpret the law in regard to the Constitution without respect for whether one of the litigants comes across as mean spirited and the other sympathetic. We should all want Justices who will look at the law, not the litigants. They call that blind justice.

Neil Gorsuch seems to meet that standard quite easily. But Democrats, emboldened by the recent removal of Obamacare from the Republicans' chopping block, want to score more victories. And they are mobilizing opposition to Gorsuch. Thank goodness for the Reid Rule.
