There are several articles out there about this. Here's one: 21st Century Fox has been holding talks to sell most of the company to Disney: Sources. That would be a big move and would definitely bring about changes.
However, I suppose this part should be good news for fans of Fox News:
The company could not own two broadcast networks and would therefore not buy the Fox broadcast network. It would not buy Fox's sports programming assets in the belief that combining them with ESPN could be seen as anti-competitive from an antitrust standpoint and it would not buy the Fox News or Business channel. Disney would also not purchase Fox's local broadcasting affiliates, according to people familiar with the negotiations.
But the handwriting is on the wall -- the Fox assets are for sale. And eventually someone will buy Fox News and give it a big makeover. In the meantime, conservatives should enjoy it while we can. There really should be some competition for conservative viewers among broadcasters instead of efforts to extinguish conservative viewpoints from TV.
