There is no safe space where people can escape political correctness. Midland College right here in Midland, Texas, has a student newspaper called Midland College Press, and the 11/10/2017 issue had a front page article telling readers that someone posted some signs around campus with the words, "It's OK to be white."
The writer of the article tells us the signs are racist and were put in place to "recruit participants for the white supremacy cause." Well, they can see it the way they want. But it appears to me to be an effort to troll those who want to isolate people in identity groups.
As an astute individual said back when the main stream media were obsessing over white supremacy demonstrations, if you spend 40 or more years putting people into identity groups based on skin color, it seems inevitable that white people will will eventually begin identifying themselves by the color of their skin.
P.S. It might be appropriate to link to Byron York's article here reminding how common fake hate crimes have become.
