Supreme Court Justices wouldn't be so important if only Congress followed the Constitution

I pulled this image at the Donald Trump friendly reddit page.

It's true, you know. The reason Supreme Court Justices are so important to the political factions is because the laws Congress passes are written (poorly) with the hope that the Supreme Court will eventually save it, overrule it, or interpret it the way the lawmakers wanted.

If Congress would simply attempt to keep it all Constitutional in the first place there wouldn't be this headache every time a seat opens.
