Beto says no: Beto O'Rourke on possible endorsement from Obama: I don't think we're interested.

O'Rourke is trying hard to burnish the centrist label he adopted for his Senate run against Ted Cruz. But conservatives in Texas are probably skeptical. And polls are reflecting it: Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz leads Democrat challenger Beto O’Rourke 50 to 44 in a CBS YouGov poll conducted October 2-5.

It's all too easy to imagine a scene in which a Senator O'Rourke would make a passionate Susan Collins type speech in which he explains how he decided go against the wishes of his fellow Texans and instead go along with Chuck Schumer.
