Surprising poll results from *Kaiser Family Foundation.
Some commentators are focused on the number of answers that changed after the disclosure that the Democrat Medicare for All plan would eliminate private insurance companies. See, for example: The Public Loves 'Medicare For All' … Until They Learn What's In It. It's always fun to chortle at Democrat's who offer free everything. But there's another question with results that should put us on alert.
Take a look at question 6b.
Creating a national government administered health plan similar to Medicare that would be open to anyone, but would allow people to keep the coverage they have if they prefer
A whooping 74% answered that they were strongly or somewhat in favor of that option.
So the odds are high that we will be seeing legislation put forward to accomplish that.
