The foxes look so much alike the only way to distinguish them is by some tail feature. Lately there have been three foxes visiting the bait station. And here's a little montage which will show those tail distinctions.
In the photos below, on the left is Stumpy. In the middle is Black Tip. And on the right is Young Crooked Tail.
Crooked Tail and Black Tip look very similar, but notice not only the crook in the tail but also the white marks on the tail. Like bird watching must be, they are much more fun to observe when you can tell them apart.
Speaking of bird watching, here's a White Winged Dove coming in for a landing.
