Hardly anyone believes that old canard that there's a scientific consensus on man made global warming, except those who have a financial investment in that consensus.
Anyway, AP in the morning paper rings an alarm bell about melting glaciers. Titled Global warming is shrinking glaciers faster than thought, it contains such alarmisms as this one: “'In these regions, at the current glacier loss rate, the glaciers will not survive the century,' Zemp said.”
It's difficult to square that with this: Sunspot update March 2019: An upcoming Grand Minimum?
Reduced solar activity has a pretty big effect on Earth's climate. And an extended period with a lack to solar activity would result in a cooled down Earth.
Any attempt to fight the hypothetical global warming by spending millions, billions, or trillions of dollars should certainly wait for more proof of the theory that has excited movie maker Al Gore and so many of his progressive followers.
